At The Original Halal Company, we’re committed to delivering exceptional products and customer care while maintaining a fair, transparent return process. Please review our policy before initiating a return.

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We accept returns of The Original Halal Company products purchased directly from www.originalhalal.co.uk within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

All returns should be pre-approved by our Customer Support Team to arrange delivery to our processing unit and ensure your return is handled promptly. Contacting us first helps us provide the correct return address and avoid any delays.

Eligibility

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original sealed packaging.
  • All safety seals, hygiene stickers, and tamper-evident closures must be intact.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

Restocking Fee
A 20 % restocking fee may apply to discretionary returns made outside your statutory 14-day cancellation period or where packaging is missing or damaged. No restocking fee is applied to valid cancellations under consumer law.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Original delivery costs
  • Any optional Shipping Protection services

2. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Customer Support
    Email hello@originalhalal.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery if your order is damaged or incorrect, or within 30 days for general returns.
  2. Approval Process
    Our team will confirm your return eligibility and provide full instructions, including the return address and a reference number.
  3. Return Shipping
    You are responsible for return postage on non-faulty items. Returns must be sent via tracked shipping to ensure traceability.
    The Original Halal Company cannot accept liability for parcels lost in transit.
  4. Include a Return Slip
    Enclose a note inside your parcel with your name, order number, and reason for return. Failure to include this may delay processing.

3. Bundle Deals & Complimentary Items

If you purchased a bundle or promotional offer that included a free or discounted item, all items must be returned together to qualify for a full refund.
If a complimentary item is not returned, its full retail value will be deducted from your refund.

4. Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective, damaged, or incorrect.
If you received a faulty product, please email hello@originalhalal.co.uk with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return postage on non-faulty items.
  • Returns must be sent using tracked postage for proof of delivery.
  • Shipping costs and protection services are non-refundable.
  • If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return cost or issue a replacement at no extra charge.

6. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Please note that bank or card processing times can vary.

8. Your Statutory Right to Cancel (UK & EU Customers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason.

To exercise this right, please notify us in writing at hello@originalhalal.co.uk within 14 days of delivery. You then have another 14 days to return the goods.

Important:

  • Items must be unopened, unused, and with all hygiene seals intact.
  • We cannot accept cancellations or returns for opened consumable or personal-care products for health-protection reasons (Reg 28 (3)(a) & (e)).
  • You are responsible for return postage when cancelling under this right, unless the goods are faulty or mis-described.
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of posting, whichever is sooner.

9. Lost or Missing Packages

If tracking shows a parcel as delivered, we are unable to provide a refund or replacement.
Please contact your courier directly to raise a claim for lost or stolen parcels.

 

10. Cancelling or Amending Orders

Our fulfilment process begins immediately after your order is placed, so we cannot guarantee cancellations or amendments once processing has started.
For weekend or holiday orders, you may request cancellation within 24 hours by emailing hello@originalhalal.co.uk.
